What makes a better job posting ad?
Post Better develops a customized recruitment plan for each of our clients. The first step of this process is an informational interview in which we ask a wide array of job recruiting questions about your company’s hiring needs and job listings:
- What are the anticipated job posting/hiring needs for the next 6 months?
- What has the company been doing thus far to get the word out, and has it been successful?
- What are the constraints for current openings (Budget, timing, experience, etc)?
- What are the specific job requisites?
From there, we develop a comprehensive Recruitment Strategy to fit your company’s specific needs. That plan includes:
- Recommendations on where to run the ad, and the associated costs of the advertisements.
- Suggestions on how to word-smith an ad to make it more compelling / effective.
- Ideas on how to brand the company in the postings, increasing the responses.
- Verifying the most effective method of application (Fax, Email, Website or directly into your Applicant Tracking System).
- Additional recommendations on how to make a posting stand out from the competition.
Once the plan is in place, we make the process easier and more effective in virtually every way. We write the ads, generate HTML code (for sites that accept it), email you links to all postings, make revisions and notify you of all expiration dates. We also handle all media buys and provide you a consolidated invoice–eliminating the headache of paying each site or newspaper as you post!
Plus, we can provide tearsheets with your invoices upon request. (This method usually meets the INS requirements for Immigration Advertising.) And for those with unlimited posting deals, we will perform a weekly sweep of your site to ensure that only your most current positions are being advertised. Lastly, we also offer comprehensive reporting, broken down by website, position title, hiring manager, and/or cost center.
What does it cost? In most cases, Post Better will cost you absolutely nothing. We are paid by commissions from the job boards and newspapers, so our services are free! You only pay for the actual job board / newspaper cost of the advertisement, not for using our services. In fact we often save our clients money, as we have experience in the most cost-effective models on the boards. In those rare instances where a commission model is not feasible, or where additional services are being provided, we offer the most competitive rates on the market. |
